Metso strengthens its mining equipment supply chain with a Canadian acquisition

Metso has signed an agreement with GE Energy to acquire GE’s Lachine Main Plant, a heavy fabrication and machining facility located near Montreal, province of Quebec, Canada. The transaction is expected to close in mid-August. The parties have agreed not to disclose the financial terms.
